    I'll have to ask my mother if she knows what that means. She and her family are from eastern Oklahoma. (She was born in Tahlequah.) I ran across an article the other day that also deals with the cultural barriers to understanding as well. I'll post the link below. One section I found especially interesting was on the high and low context communication. Here is the link
